I don’t know about you, but I was preeeettty excited to hear that Ruche was launching there own wedding line. I, for one, have spent one too many Sunday afternoons glued to my laptop, drooling over all the beautiful dresses, frilly tops, and adorable skirts that Ruche has to offer. Just when I think they can’t come out with anything cuter, a new dress wins the new top slot.
I was quick to hop on over to Ruche’s site once the wedding collection was up to see if it was going to be necessary for us to have a wedding vow renewal. Ya know, just so I can wear one of the dresses. . .
Sorry to say, I was underwhelmed by the dresses. GASP! I know, don’t hate. I was just a little confused as to which ones were bridal and which ones were more of the maid variety. If that was what Ruche was going for, then goal met. So many of the dresses lacked any kind of structure up top, which was very “Atonement” -esque to me. Loved the movie, not sure if I’m loving the looks modern day. Some of the dresses were beautiful, don’t get me wrong, I guess I’m just not loving the “casual” elegance of the collection.
Let’s skip the negative Nancy part, and get to the real reason for the post, the details! Yes, I love love love the new wedding accessories and jewelry collection.

Wow, just. . . wow. The jeweled tones, feather accents, lacy touches? I want one of everything please . I think Ruche really nailed it with the accessories collection, they stayed true to the bridal look with statement pieces and really stand out touches, but put that vintage Ruche touch to it that we all love so much.
Also, can we talk about the photography for the lookbook? Because it was nothing short of stunning.

What was your favorite part of the new collection? Are you an even bigger Ruche fan than before? Or did it leave you wanting more?
